We used the Mackey House and all vendors they recommended for everything and were very pleased with the results. Thank you, Fred, Laura, Rev. Poston, Dave, Dee, and staff! It was a lovely, fun wedding and just what the bride and groom had hoped for. Everyone had such a good time! You certainly made planning an out-of-town wedding much easier. Our ONLY regret is that we had several family members and friends who had sudden emergencies or health issues that kept them away at the last minute. We wish they could have been there to share this special evening at the Mackey House with us. They will no doubt enjoy seeing the wedding photographs taken by Dream Weaver photographers (again arranged for us by TMH). Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this wedding and reception the perfect evening for us!

The Mackeys provided the fairytale evening wedding our daughter envisioned. During the day, the grounds and facility are lovely but at night with the candles, firelight, rope lights, and tiki tourches, the ambiance was wonderful. Dave, the evening facilitator and DJ, provided seemless transitions and made the dance floor rock. The Mackeys provided southern hospitality at its best, opening their home for our pleasure. The Mackey House provided a exquisite venue for our daughter’s wedding. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and provided beautiful views for all of our wedding pictures. Mrs. and Mrs. Mackey are well-organized and have a great staff that work tirelessly to accommodate their guests. It was so nice to have them coordinate the decorating, music, catering, etc. Dave, the DJ, was a very helpful and efficient wedding coordinator. The reception was wonderful, and the food was exceptional. Our only complaint was that the July weather was hot for an outdoor wedding. Had it not been for the heat, the day would have been perfect! Our experience at the Mackey House exceeded our expectations, and we were so pleased with our wedding day experience.

Crystal and I cannot thank you enough for opening your beautiful home to us on our wedding day. We Got married on May 14,2011 in the pavilion located on site. After we just moved up stairs for the reception. The transition was easy for all our guest and their was even an elevator for some of the grandparents! If you are looking for a truly southern venue than look no further! This Place is simply beautiful. Fred and Laura Mackey are some of the easiest folks to work with when it comes to planing a wedding. The wait staff are very professional and nice, the food is to die for and the DJ is GREAT! If you are looking into outsourcing your DJ please give Dave a look. Not only is he really nice, funny, and gets the crowd going, he knows the lay of the land and since he has been performing weddings there for a long time he can act as your wedding “planner”. He truly has a confidence about him and really knows how to make all your transitions go smoothly. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding or better people to host it. Thanks again Fred and Laura for making our special day come true!

I truly cannot thank you enough!!!!! It was the most BEAUTIFUL baby shower. I could have never even dreamed that it would be so enchanting. All of my guests commented that they have never had so much fun at a baby shower:) We all loved the decorations, and it was so nice to have such a special day at the most amazing place. Thank you sooooo much I will never forget it, I don’t think my friends will either!!!!! Thank you again and again!!!!

Thank you again and again for helping us make this “surprise vow renewal ceremony” for my daughter Kristy Weed so “special”! We were just blown away with how absolutely beautiful and perfect everything was on May 6, 2011! Words just cannot describe it, absolutely breathtaking! Everything including the whole staff was just PERFECT!!! Thank you for allowing Kristy & Jeff to make these wonderful memories in such a magical dreamland!

Thank you so much for allowing my husband to surprise me with such a beautiful ceremony at the Mackey House. Not only is the land and view breathtaking, but the staff was amazing as well. I couldnt have asked for a more beautiful surprise wedding. It truly was a dream come true and we are so blessed to have gotten to know you all.
