Located only 5 minutes from Historic Downtown Savannah Georgia, The Mackey House, with its southern charm, provides a wonderful setting for you and your guests to celebrate any occasion.
When you book your event at The Mackey House you will enjoy a large, colonial mansion with spacious rooms which access the beautiful 2500 sq.ft. deck, the magnificent wrap-around porch and 4000 sq. ft climate controlled pavilion from which you can enjoy the 200-year-old oak trees adorning the landscape. The venue sits on the original 440 acre tract. We are located down a one mile long winding road surrounded by oak trees and 6 ponds yet we are 5 minutes from Historic Downtown Savannah.
You will also have access to a bride’s dressing room, a large groom’s room, a beautiful garden with a wedding arbor, an air conditioned and heated open pavilion with a large brick fire place, and a 2 acre adjacent parking area overlooking a beautiful pond with 2 fountains in the center.
For all events, The Mackey House provides tables with tablecloths, skirting, small fresh centerpieces for guests tables, white chairs, silver and crystal serving accessories, candelabras with candles, bridal attendant and surround sound music that you can hear anywhere on the property. We also offer childcare if you need it so don’t be afraid to ask!
For any outside needs, we provide large tropical ferns and palms, beautifully landscaped gardens, candle centerpieces, tulle and bow decorations inside and outside the house, tiki torches, twinkle lights, many fountains and a beautiful country setting are all included in the site fee.
