Brooke and Cory embraced the natural beauty of the Mackey House and its surroundings in their simple yet elegant fall wedding. The wedding’s decor blended flawlessly into the mighty pines and oak trees that surround the Mackey House, from the green and white flower bouquets and centerpieces to the wedding arbor draped in white cloth and twinkle lighting. The one thing that Brooke did make stand out were her shoes- bright pink heels that popped in the couple’s many photos throughout the Mackey House’s meadow. To add to the serenity of Brooke and Cory’s wedding, a string quartet played in the lush garden as Brooke made her way down the aisle. After the ceremony, guests were greeted with copper mugs at their reception table that were waiting to be filled with the couple’s signature American mule cocktail, a perfect touch on a fall wedding. Southern favorites were served at Brooke and Cory’s reception, before a dessert bar stole the show with donuts and freshly made pastries with ice cream. As the sun went down and the reception was in full swing, Brooke traded in her heels for a pair of pink Converse, and the couple made their way to the light-up dance floor on the mansion’s deck for a good time with their closest friends and family. When the night came to a close, Brooke and Cory made their way down the Mackey House’s dramatic grand staircase with a sparkler exit, waving goodbye to their guests, officially husband and wife.
