Essential Tips for Finding Your Wedding Season
Your wedding season dictates a wide range of wedding elements – from the décor, to the cake and the food you serve your guests with. Of course you want to choose a wedding season that suits you from all points of view!
What are the essential tips for finding your wedding season? We have some tips for you – continue reading to find out more.
- – Meaningfulness and/or preference. If you have a season that means a lot to you as a couple, settle for it, you won’t regret it. If you have a favorite season in general, go for it, even if it’s not the traditional choice (it will be more representative of who you are and what you love!).
- – Wedding style and theme. Do you have a particular wedding theme in mind? If so, make sure you choose a wedding season that suits your wedding theme. While not impossible, it could be very difficult to plan an outdoor wedding in late November, for example.
- – Wedding attire. If you are among the brides who are already very specific about the type of dress you want to wear, be sure your wedding season is suitable for it. A thin, lace-y wedding gown that ends just above the calves of your feet is very chic – but wearing just that in December might make you suffer on your honeymoon…
- – Do you have a smaller budget? That’s fine, you can still have a dreamy wedding – but you will have to be quite careful with all the decisions you make, including that of the season. The more “in season” (summer or spring) your wedding is, the more expensive the venue and vendors will be as well.
