A wedding is obviously not about how many gifts you receive – but even so, you will definitely want to learn how to safely store wedding gifts at your venue. After all, your guests have put in a lot of effort to offer you something nice for your Big Day so keeping the gifts safe is both about you and about them as well.

- Talk to your wedding venue and see if they could provide you with a closet that can be locked and secured. This way, you will simply tuck all the wedding gifts in there and you will not have to worry too much about them on your Big Day.
- Make sure you appoint someone to handle all the gifts you receive on your wedding day. Usually, the Maid of Honor deals with this but you can choose just about any other guest that’s reliable and well-organized too (your mother, one of the bridesmaids, the Best Man, etc.).
- In general, it is advisable that guests send their gifts at home, before the wedding. This is the safest way to make sure nobody will want to make your gifts “slip away” on the Big Day. If you think it would be too awkward for you to mention this to your guests, appoint a member of the wedding party to do this (for example, the Maid of Honor could tell your guests about this when she spreads the news about the wedding registry too).
