Some of the small things you might not think of – a picture booth get a “timely – with your theme” background where people can have pictures taken to show off their outfits.  Food and drinks of the time – what was popular then, your caterer and bartenders can help you with that.  Party favors – try to stay within your decade to keep it authentic.
