This husband and wife psychology duo has written several books on how to have a successful relationship. This book really focuses on something many people forget, the bride AND the groom. It reminds couples what their wedding is really about- them, and that planning their big day together will make for the happiest wedding. Our recommendation: buy two copies, one for her and one for him, so they can both make notes on their own and discuss.
Finally, we also recommend Offbeat Bride written by Ariel Meadow Stallings, an acclaimed writer with articles in such publications as Modern Bride Magazine, ReadyMade and Seattle Weekly. This book, based on the popular website, is so refreshing because it helps gives the unconventional bride a voice. For any bride that doesn’t want tradition anywhere near her wedding day, this book will help get you there.
