Wedding Tips For Bride On A Budget
Weddings celebrate love and commitment – and there’s really nothing more beautiful than that. However, at the same time, weddings can get quite expensive and they can easily leave a hole’s in a couple’s pockets.
This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t get the wedding you have been dreaming of ever since you were a little girl! With a bit of know-how and willingness, you can get the wedding you want even if you are on a tighter budget. Here are some tips you may want to follow:
- Plan ahead. And by “ahead”, we mean at least 1 year – 1 year and 6 months before the big date. This way, you will be able to shop around and to decide on what fits you best both when it comes to your preferences and when it comes to your budget.
- Be a bit flexible. There are “tricks” every budgeting bride should know. For instance, you should be a bit flexible with your wedding date. Fall and winter are usually less expensive than summer and spring. Also, you should be flexible with the time of the day at which you want to book your wedding location. Day weddings are, again, less expensive than evening weddings.
- Shop on discount. If you plan your wedding in advance (as pointed out in the first tip), you have the chance to shop on discounts and sales. Once a wedding season is over, many vendors will offer really big discounts on their products and services – and some of them can be bought/booked even if you have a long way to go before your actual wedding date.
