While a couple’s wedding day is one of the most important days of their life, the rehearsal dinner is also a special occasion for the bride and groom to kick off the celebration with their closest family and friends. The Mackey House is a historical rehearsal dinner venue just 10 miles from Savannah that brings together traditional southern charm with modern finishes to create an elegant atmosphere. Inside, we offer spacious, luxurious rooms for ceremonies or receptions with a seated dinner. Outside, we have a 2,000+ square-foot deck with panoramic views, a dense garden with room for cocktails, and a peaceful lake that serves as a backdrop for the romantic setting.

The Mackey House Wedding Inclusions

Our team at The Mackey House can assist with your planning process from start to finish, working closely with your wedding planner, day-of coordinator, and/or ceremony official to ensure everything runs smoothly. We will provide you with a list of trusted vendors, including caterers, that have impressed us at previous events, or you also have the option of bringing in outside vendors if you prefer. Below is a list of what is included with your rental of The Mackey House venue. Services such as catering, bar packages, linens and centerpieces can be provided through The Mackey House at an additional cost.

Four Hours of Event Time

You will have one hour for a ceremony rehearsal, three hours to get ready prior to the event, and four hours of ceremony and reception time.

Private Use of the Property

Enjoy private and exclusive use of entire property, including the house, deck, garden, lake, and outdoor pavilion.

Tables & Chairs

60-inch round tables and white folding chairs are provided to fit up to 150 people for ceremonies and receptions. We can accommodate more for an additional charge.

Dance Floor

Dance the night away on our 12×20-foot illuminated dance floor located on the deck.

Bar

One bar is available for use on the deck and another is located in the outside pavilion. Bar packages are available for an additional cost.

DJ Booth

If you choose to bring in a DJ, there is a DJ booth on the deck next to the dance floor for him or her to set up.

Host or Hostess

For the duration of your event, a host or hostess will be available to serve you and your guests.

Twinkle Lights

Twinkle lights will line the walkways, decorate the landscape, and brighten up the tents throughout the venue.

Fans & Heaters

No matter the season, either fans or heaters can be used throughout the venue.

Parking

Complementary and abundant parking is available just a stone’s throw away from the venue.

Elevator Lift

An exterior elevator lift is accessible if needed.

Liability Insurance

Liability insurance is provided through The Mackey House.

Setup & Breakdown of Event

Your event’s tables, chairs, twinkle lights, and more will be setup before you arrive and broken down at the end of your wedding.
