As you come around the bend of the driveway framed with towering oak, fern, and palm trees, you are greeted by The Mackey House, a remarkable Southern mansion with its own chapter in Savannah’s history. Its grand staircase leads you up into the home with beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, bride and groom rooms to get ready in, and a kitchen fit to serve buffets and hors d’oeuvres. As you step out onto the large, 2,600 sq. ft. deck, you are welcomed by panoramic views of the entire venue, including the perfectly manicured garden, open-air pavilion, immense fountain, and glistening lake. The deck is covered by a large, draping canopy, and beneath it features a lit dance floor, DJ booth, and bar.
We are proud to be one of the most desired Southern farm wedding venues in the area. The deck can fit up to 180 guests. Round tables that fit 8 people are provided for seating, with 16 tables fitting on the deck with the dance floor in use, 19 with the dance floor not in use, and 22 if there is no bar or dance floor in use. Tables can also be set up in the garden if needed.
