Caitlin & Adam Wedding
High school sweethearts Caitlin and Adam tied the knot at The Mackey House during a beautiful summertime wedding. From the lavender bridesmaid dresses to the bride’s light orange, pink, and yellow bouquet, the couple incorporated soft pastels to perfectly complement the season. Caitlin and Adam added unique, whimsical touches throughout the venue, including antique gold picture frames and mirrors, vintage furniture, and luggage used as decor. Once Caitlin and her bridesmaids got ready in the bride’s room, Caitlin walked down The Mackey House’s grand staircase to greet Adam for the first time on their big day. The wedding party then took stunning photos throughout the venue while the property’s towering pine, palm, and oak trees made for a lush, summertime backdrop. Wedding guests arrived in classic Savannah-style, chartered by Old Savannah Tours’ trolleys. The ceremony took place in the garden underneath the wedding arch, draped with twinkle lights and lace curtains that matched the lace on Caitlin’s dress. After the couple said “I do,” the guests gathered into the open-air pavilion for the reception and were greeted with white linens and dainty gold and pink centerpieces on each table. After the celebration came to a close on the deck’s dance floor, Caitlin and Adam descended The Mackey House, sent off with a sparkler exit surrounded by loved ones.
