Carrie & Jeffrey Wedding

With their shared love of food, wine, and a good time, Carrie and Jeffrey transformed the Mackey House into a wedding that was unique to them as a couple, with personal touches at every turn. The couple had their “first look” under the towering trees in the meadow, and then read letters to each other on the mansion’s front porch, creating intimate memories between bride and groom. The ceremony was held in the flourishing garden, where Carrie was escorted by her father down the cobblestone path to the wedding arbor, complete with bouquets of white roses and twinkle lights. Incorporated within the arbor were cherished keepsakes honoring the couple’s late loved ones. After the couple said “I do,” a champagne toast amongst the warmth of the burning fireplace in the Pavilion kicked the night off. Carrie and Jeffrey, as the foodies (and wine lovers) they are, served their guests a tapas-style dinner along with wine that the couple hand-selected for their reception. The guests could also choose between two signature cocktails, “The Jeffrey” or “The Carrie.” After dancing the night away, the couple’s loved ones lined the Mackey House’s grand staircase and sent Carrie and Jeffrey on their way with sparklers, creating a magical exit from their one-of-a-kind wedding.
