Emily & Brian Wedding
After visiting Savannah and falling in love with its charm, Emily and Brian decided to throw a destination wedding in Savannah with their closest friends and family. The couple decorated our venue with soft pastel flower arrangements and gold accents that blended seamlessly with The Mackey House’s landscape, making for a timeless wedding. On the day of their spring wedding, the weather was in Emily and Brian’s favor, with the sun shining throughout the entire venue. Before the wedding began, Emily, Brian, and their wedding parties took to the Bride and Groom Suites to get ready while guests began to arrive, and children played outside around the venue.
Emily and Brian chose to have their ceremony in the garden. The couple laid pastel pink flower petals down the aisle which led to the wedding arch that was decorated with pastel flower bouquets that matched Emily and her bridesmaids’ bouquets. After Emily and Brian said, “I do,” the reception was held on the deck. From bruschetta and deviled eggs to pork sliders and crab stuffed cherry tomatoes, guests were greeted with bite-sized delicacies. The tables at the reception were decorated with gold candles and dinnerware as well as little personalized honey jars that served as wedding favors.
After dinner was over, Emily and Brian had their cake cutting inside The Mackey House, and Brian showed off some of his piano skills on our grand piano. Once the night began to die down, the couple had their signature sparkler exit, ending their stunning spring wedding in true Mackey House fashion. Emily and Brian’s destination wedding was full of unique memories for the couple and their loved ones.
