Maggie & Andrew Wedding

As we officially say goodbye to summer and head into fall, we wanted to take a moment to reflect back on one of our stunning 2019 summer weddings. This past May, Maggie and Andrew threw a timeless wedding at The Mackey House that really brought our venue to life with unique ideas and a lively guest list.

Taking advantage of the summer sunshine, Maggie and Andrew held their ceremony in our blooming garden. The couple hung white paper lanterns throughout the garden’s towering trees, adding a whimsical touch to the breezy, afternoon wedding. After the groom, groomsmen, and bridesmaids made their way to the altar, Maggie was escorted down the aisle by her father. While the couple was saying their vows and having their first kiss as husband and wife, an artist was busy capturing the moment by creating a live painting of the ceremony.

After the couple walked back down the aisle, the reception began on our clear-covered deck. Toasts were made, and dinner was served before the wedding party enjoyed mingling around our venue and discovering all of its charming touches. Our light-up, multi-colored dance floor then became the main entertainment as the couple danced the night away with their friends and family. As the night came to a close, Maggie and Andrew were escorted by a sparkler exit as they made their way home before heading off on their honeymoon.
