Melissa & James Wedding

Melissa and James held a magical winter wedding at The Mackey House full of minimalistic yet eye-catching details. Melissa wore a strapless dress with gorgeous details while the bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses, and in some outdoor photos, the group wore cute fur shawls to complement the season. In the open-air pavilion, the couple placed a white, modern couch in front of the grand double-sided fireplace along with tables and heaters to keep guests warm and comfortable as they mingled. Once everyone arrived and the couple was ready, the wedding ceremony took place in the garden surrounded by palm and pine trees. White paper lanterns were hung throughout the trees and a beautiful gold chandelier was added to the wedding arch, draped in white curtains and greenery. After the couple had their first kiss as husband and wife, they walked back down the aisle while guests tossed pink flower petals into the air, making for unique photos. The reception followed on the covered deck, where a large greenery chandelier hung over the dance floor giving the space a whimsical ambiance. With stunning and unique details at every space throughout The Mackey House venue, Melissa and James threw a memorable event to celebrate their marriage with close friends and family.
