Rachael & Trevor Wedding
Rachael and Trevor’s classic spring wedding at The Mackey House set the bar for many weddings to come. Stepping away from flashy wedding decor, the couple allowed our venue’s flourishing, green landscape to take the spotlight and give the wedding a whimsical feel. Trevor and his groomsmen took to the groom’s suite, complete with a bar, flat screen TV’s, and couches, to get ready for the big day, while in the bridal suite, Rachael prepped with her bridesmaids. Rachael and her bridesmaids carried simple bouquets that were rich with greenery and went perfectly with the bridesmaids’ blush pink dresses.
Rachael walked down the aisle with her father to the wedding altar that was draped in white curtains and plenty of twinkle lights. After the couple said, “I do,” they gathered for group photos in the garden before heading up to our clear-covered deck for their reception. On the deck, tables were covered with shimmery, silver table cloths, and the centerpieces were made up of greenery and silver candles. Since the weather was still chilly during their wedding day, heaters were placed around the deck to keep everyone comfortable. Rachael and Trevor had their first dance on our lighted, color-changing dance floor before the rest of the guests joined in for a lively celebration of the couple’s marriage.
