Tori + Tim Wedding
Tori and Tim tied the knot in a February wedding at the Mackey House. Tori and her bridesmaids got ready for the day in our Bride’s Room, which features full length mirrors and plenty of room for everyone to prepare. Tori’s bridesmaids wore gold sequin dresses while her maid of honor wore a light pink dress, and all of the girls opted for sneakers instead of heels. Tim and his groomsmen prepared for the day in our Groom’s Room which is complete with flatscreen TV’s and a bar, and the men all wore light pink ties.
The ceremony was held in the garden at the wedding arch which was decorated with white and light pink flowers and draped in white linen and twinkle lights. Tori held a flower bouquet made of white roses and greenery with a monogrammed ribbon while she made her way down the aisle. After the couple said their I Do’s, they danced back down the aisle followed by their cheerful wedding party. The couple and their guests took an overhead group photo in the garden and then went to take more photos beneath the pine trees that surround The Mackey House.
At the reception on our clear-covered deck, Tori and Tim were one of the first couples to break in our brand-new dance floor. From the couple’s first dance to the bouquet and garter toss, the crowd was always up out of their seats having a great time as the dance floor changed colors beneath them. Tori and Tim’s stunning wedding cake was made by Tori’s grandmother, and the cake stand was used in her parents’ wedding. When the night came to a close at The Mackey House, Tori and Tim, along with their entire crew, hopped onto trolleys provided by Old Savannah Tours and made the ten-minute commute to downtown Savannah to continue the fun as newlyweds.
